AMD will unveil more graphics cards in a month. But it will still be the current generation

Next month, we will see new graphics card models from AMD, which will use the RDNA 2 architecture and will therefore belong to the Radeon RX 6000 series.

Following speculation, according to the Videocardz website, the introduction of the new cards should take place on May 10, although AMD has not announced any exact date. A total of three Radeons RX 6650 XT, RX 6750 XT and the most powerful RX 6950 XT should arrive, which will replace the current highest variant Radeon RX 6900 XT. The arrival of the low-end Radeon RX 6400 is also rumored.

All three mentioned cards should have one thing in common – fast GDDR6 memory with a frequency of 18 GHz. Due to the increased TDP from 330 W to 350 W, the highest Radeon RX 6950 XT can be expected to have higher core frequencies, the number of stream processors and other parts should be the same as the existing Radeon RX 6900 XT (5,120 stream processors, 16 GB memory). All chips will probably be manufactured using the newer 6nm technology (TSMC), which AMD used in the not very successful Radeon RX 6500 XT.

AMD is preparing a new heatsink design for these models, but of course we will see a lot of heatsink variations and frequency models from other manufacturers, which will be slightly increased from the factory.
