“Computer Academy TOP” will invest 2.5 billion rubles. in the creation of multifunctional educational hubs

“TOP Computer Academy”, which specializes in obtaining additional and professional IT education for children and adults, opens multifunctional educational hubs. The new format of online and offline education will combine an IT academy, an English language school, a college, as well as primary and secondary schools. The first educational institutions of a new type, offering several areas of study at once, will begin work in Kaliningrad, Tyumen and Sochi. A new approach to organizing training will allow faster launch of new branches, redistributing investments in equipping classrooms and expanding available training programs.

The new format will allow much more active use of training areas during the day. If in the morning the main focus will be on teaching children, then the evening hours will be given to adult students and high school students.

“A significant part of our costs is the cost of renting premises, as well as repairs, taking into account educational standards. Combining various learning formats under one roof allows for much more efficient use of learning space. As the results of the “pilot” showed, it is also more convenient for students to study in the same building with a good location and the most saturated educational infrastructure – this is how connections between students and teachers are formed faster, which leads to the emergence of new teams and startups. In large cities, we are interested in buildings of 2500-3000 sq. m., in regional centers – up to 2000 meters. In some cities, realizing the significance of the project for residents, we are assisted by local authorities, transferring for a nominal fee the buildings of the former Pioneer Houses and other educational institutions that require urgent overhaul. As a result, everyone wins: we save on rent payments, city residents get the opportunity to get a profession in demand, and the authorities relieve themselves of the “headache” of maintaining dilapidated buildings. By the end of the year, we will open such centers in five cities,” said Pavel Spetsianmanaging partner of TOP Computer Academy.

In total, investments in the project over two to three years will amount to about 2.5 billion rubles. Each educational center of the new format will combine both existing and promising training programs. By 2024, the company plans to open about 80 educational centers in cities with a population of 200,000 or more. Investments in the repair and technical equipment of each center will amount to about 30-40 million rubles.

To date, three educational centers are being prepared for opening: in Tyumen, Kaliningrad and Sochi. By the end of the year, the company plans to launch a similar format for organizing training in Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, Nizhny Novgorod and Yekaterinburg, where residents are already well aware of the training formats at the Academy.

In addition, the company has developed a special format of an educational center for cities with a population of 20,000 to 100,000 people. It is currently being tested, if the “pilot” launch is considered successful, such centers will appear in 400 cities of the country.
