Evgeny Petrov appointed Vice President, Director of the Nizhny Novgorod (support) branch of PJSC Rostelecom. Also, until the company’s complete transition to the new management model, Petrov will serve as vice president-director of the Volga macro-regional branch. Evgeny Valerievich Petrov was born in 1981 in the city of Rubtsovsk, Altai Territory. In 2004, he graduated from the II Polzunov Altai State Technical University with a degree in power supply for industrial enterprises.
Evgeny Petrov has been working in telecommunications for over 13 years. Previously, he headed the divisions of telecom operators “Prestige-Internet” (trademark “Enforta”) and JSC “ER-telecom holding”. At Rostelecom, he worked as a director of one of the largest branches of the company – Krasnoyarsk, which included the territories of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the republics of Khakassia and Tyva. In this position, in particular, he implemented a project for the provision of digital services for the 2019 Universiade.

In addition to managing the Nizhny Novgorod branch of PJSC Rostelecom, Evgeny Petrov will oversee the activities of regional branches in the Volga Federal District. Under his leadership, the implementation of the company’s leadership strategy in all key client segments will continue.
