Fractal is shrinking its popular Meshify 2 and Define 7 cases. They will now be available in Mini and Nano variants

The Swedish Fractal Design scores points with computer assembly fans in particular with two series of cases – Define and Meshify. They differ mainly in the design of the front part, where the Define 7 offers a fixed forehead with suction around the perimeter and the Meshify 2 adorns a completely perforated forehead for maximum suction.

Define 7 Mini for style or Meshify 2 Nano for suction

New additions are Mini size cases for mATX and ITX boards and Nano for mini ITX / mini-DTX. At the same time, all novelties can swallow a graphics card up to 331 mm long, with the Mini variants also having space for a 240 mm radiator on the top.

All cabinets have a lot in common, the differences apart from the design of the front side can be found mainly in the range of connectors on the front panel. The Mini and Nano versions have the same floor plan, so they share the same limitations regarding the size of the ATX power supply or the length of the graphics card. So they take up the same space on the table, higher versions of the Mini offer more space for additional cards and do not limit you so much when choosing a motherboard.

The upper part can be removed, with Define 7 you can choose between variants of the upper side

For easy assembly, you can remove not only the left and right sides, but also the top of all cabinets. This allows you to connect the processor power supply or the fan on the processor cooler more conveniently. For Define 7 models, you will find a perforated and solid top cover in the package. So you can choose between appearance or cooling. The Define 7 can also be had with an opaque metal side panel, if you want to emphasize the closed style of the front surface on the rest of the computer as well.

The cabinets will go on sale at the end of August. The Mini variants have a recommended price of USD 110, the smaller Nano is USD 100, so we expect prices around CZK 2,500.
