Higher School of Economics and 1C signed an agreement to expand cooperation

Within the framework of SPIEF-2022, HSE University and 1C signed an agreement on expanding cooperation in technological, educational, outreach and information areas.

The agreement provides for strengthening cooperation in the field of information technology, applying the knowledge and experience of the parties to improve the HSE digital infrastructure using 1C technologies.

One of the important areas of cooperation will be the development of educational programs in key competencies of the digital economy, such as “Software Engineering” at the Faculty of Computer Science, “Business Informatics” at the Higher School of Business and others. Also, the parties will continue to cooperate within the framework of the activities of the 1C project center based on the School of Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science of the National Research University Higher School of Economics – St. Petersburg.

In addition, experts from the Higher School of Economics and 1C will work together to develop industry competencies and digital solutions for automating higher education institutions.

“For us, cooperation with 1C is a truly strategic direction. Today I participate only as a person who captures the interaction of a large number of people, specialists, departments and campuses of the Higher School of Economics. We have two basic departments of the company, “1C” is a member of the Board of Trustees of the University, St. Petersburg campus. We also have new joint plans. And it is very important for us that we institutionalize this agreement and that our large teams will continue their work and will train specialists for the new economy of modern times even more effectively,” said the rector of the Higher School of Economics Nikita Anisimov.

“We really appreciate our long-standing partnership with the Higher School of Economics. The agreement summarizes the already existing areas of cooperation and opens up opportunities for new projects. We consider it especially valuable to combine educational initiatives and practical tasks of automation, including the involvement of students in project activities for the benefit of our native university,” said the director of 1C Boris Nuraliev.
