Fujifilm launches the next generation of pocket mobile printers on the Czech market Instax Mini Link 2. Through the application, it can be connected to a smartphone and photos can be printed immediately. A new feature is Instax Air, which allows so-called “drawing in the air”. This can then become part of the printed photograph. The novelty will go on sale on June 22, 2022 in pink, white and dark blue CZK 3,199.
There will be three color variants to choose from
The printer is about the size of a medium-sized power bank and uses a serrated texture to help hold it better in the palm of your hand. It takes about 15 seconds to print a single image. The printer has its own built-in battery, it can print about 100 photos on a single charge. Instax Mini format film is used, at the current price of the film one photo costs CZK 20.
A new feature against the previous generation of the printer is Instax Air, which adds custom graphics to photos. All you have to do is take the printer in your hand, press the function key on the top, point the side LED towards you and use it to draw virtually in the air. The drawn shape appears in the print preview in the application. You can even record a video of the drawing itself and then share it in the form of a QR code, which will be part of the printed photo. Images can also be embellished with bubbles, petals, neon lights, spray paint, or a shimmering look before printing.

The printer offers two color modes: Instax Rich for richer image colors and Instax Natural, which preserves the original look of your photos. Pictures from the phone can also be completed using artistic filters or by adjusting brightness, contrast and saturation. The application allows you to combine up to eight different images into a single print collage. The printer connects to the phone via the application, both Android and iOS platforms are supported.
