The Ministry of Finance of Russia summed up the results of grant competitions held in 2021: companies will receive more than 6 billion rubles for the development and implementation of Russian IT solutions. The support measures were operated by the Russian Fund for the Development of Information Technologies, the Skolkovo Fund and the Innovation Promotion Fund.
The Russian Fund for the Development of Information Technologies has selected 62 projects, which is more than in the two previous years. The total amount of grant support was RUB 4.5 billion. In total, 226 applications were received for the competition – twice as many as last year, amounting to more than 36 billion rubles.
Among the winners are development projects: decision-making assistance systems for radiologists when planning endoprosthetics surgeries (RTK Radiologiya LLC), a neural network system for semantic analysis and content synthesis in social networks and messengers (Cognitive Associative Systems Association LLC, mobile version of the program for managing merchandising in retail trade (LLC “Basalt SPO”).
The Skolkovo Foundation selected 12 projects for the amount of grant support of 680 million rubles. Among the winners are pilot implementation projects: monitoring systems for the state of infrastructure and water supply in the city (Kalugaoblvodokanal State Enterprise), a unified platform for creating digital twins for the design and production of transport (Scientific Research Center STM LLC).
The Innovation Promotion Fund supported projects worth RUB 1.2 billion. The fund also announced competitive selections for the “Development-DT” and “Start-DT-1” programs, the winners of which will be announced in 2022.
“The indicators for grant support, planned for 2021 within the framework of the federal project“ Digital Technologies ”of the national program“ Digital Economy of the Russian Federation ”, have been fully met. At the same time, the funnel of incoming projects and the geography of the regions involved have been significantly expanded.
