Following the recent unveiling of its new Lenovo Tab P12 Pro at the end of the year, it appears that the company is preparing for a more humble start to 2022, with the complete leak of specs from the next Lenovo Tab M10, the third generation of its economic tablet, which will offer us the possibility of having a device with an FHD screen at a price suitable for all budgets.
As they have shared from MySmartPrice, it seems that recently the Lenovo Tab M10 tablet (under the product name “tb328fu”) would have appeared listed in the Google Play Console, a tool that Android application developers can use to ensure their software is compatible with the enormously wide range of phones and tablets.
In the absence of an official confirmation, the appearance of this tablet in this list indicates that Lenovo would already have a completed final device, fully detailing its key specifications: Android 11, a 1920 x 1200 pixel screen, 4 GB of RAM, and a Socionext SC1408J1 processor.
Without a doubt, it is a rather atypical choice of processor, avoiding the already standardized Qualcomm and MediaTek chipsets, although this does not mean that it has to be a bad signal. It is thus a quad-core processor with two ARM Cortex-A72 CPU cores (at 1.1 GHz), two Cortex-A53 cores (at 1.1 GHz), and ARM Mali-T820 3-core graphics.
However, the fact that that all CPU cores are set to 1.1 GHz, something really strange. Possibly the company has chosen not to reveal all the exact details of its tablet before the official announcement of the same, so we could expect some small change. And is that the current specifications would imply that the new tablet would have a significant difference in performance compared to its predecessor, in this case, unless.
On the other hand, its new screen would have a distribution of 240 pixels per inch, a figure that could suggest the use of a smaller panel, aiming at 9.4 inches. That said, it would be quite strange to see a step back from the 10.1 inches of its predecessors, which is in fact the most popular format among these devices.
Thus, some details of the Lenovo Tab M10 are still pending, such as the camera configuration, its connectivity section, and of course, its launch date and price. Details that we are expected to know soon, pointing to an imminent official presentation.
