Moscow Poly to allocate about 900 places for training of IT specialists

In 2022, more than 3,000 state-funded places have been allocated at the Moscow Poly in hundreds of popular areas of study. In particular, for the training of IT specialists – almost 900 places at the bachelor’s, specialist’s and master’s levels. On June 8, 2022, during a press conference dedicated to the 2022 admission campaign, in the press center of the AGN “Moscow” said the Vice-Rector of the Moscow Poly Guzel Sharipzyanova.

Also in 2022, the university will start a new master’s program, which the university intends to implement as part of the competition of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science “Advanced Engineering Schools”.

“We are planning to recruit for a program where they will train and train specialists – designers and engineers in the automotive industry, at a completely different, high-quality level,” Guzel Sharipzyanova said.

The vice-rector noted that among the key features of the Moscow Poly, one can single out project activities that are implemented at the university not only for students, but also for future applicants. Most importantly, the projects are based on the real tasks of industrial partners, and the university has more than 350 of them.

During the press conference, the vice-rector of the Moscow Poly noted that in 2022 it is possible to apply for admission to the university from June 20, 2022, and this can be done from anywhere in the world using the Superservice through the Gosuslugi portal or through the university website.

“You can also apply in person. On June 18, in anticipation of the start of accepting documents, the university will host an Open Doors Day so that the guys can get acquainted with all the areas of training provided by the Moscow Poly. We have more than 10 dormitories, and we provide comfortable accommodation for applicants in the process of admission and students during their studies,” said Guzel Sharipzyanova.

In addition, thanks to participation in the Priority 2030 program of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Moscow Poly has the opportunity to provide its students with free additional education in IT areas. Among them are cyber-physical systems, CAD programming integration, web technologies, system software engineering, digital transformation, etc.

According to the vice-rector, the university, through various services, provides an opportunity to connect to lectures, seminars, and practical classes for those who cannot attend them in person.

“Foreigners from more than 90 countries of the world study at the university. In terms of the number of students from abroad, Moscow Poly is in fourth place among Russian universities, and this indicates the quality of education that we provide,” the speaker noted.
