Native Chats translates real-time news into hundreds of world languages. You don’t even know you’re having fun with a stranger

This is something like a common communication application (Messenger, WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram, etc.), but it has something extra. This is an application Native Chatswhich is available for free for Android and iOS.

The strongest point of the application are real – time machine translations. So you can chat with people from all over the world and their messages will arrive on your phone already translated.

You can create a multilingual group in the application, for example with a German, an Englishman and a Pole. When you write a message in Czech, each of the users will receive a translation into the language of their choice.

A total of 104 world languages are supported. The application is specially developed for various humanitarian and diplomatic missions abroad and in the future the application will also have a high security regime. Thanks to this, we can see the USAir Force or Google for Startups logo in the “Backed By” section of the project website. However, the upcoming update will ensure greater data security.

The principle is simple, just register in the application, fill in your phone number, which will receive a verification SMS, and then state your name and surname, add a profile photo and state your primary and secondary language. When registering, you will probably come across a bit, if you use a Gmail or Microsoft account to log in, all you have to do is wait for the verification SMS to arrive. If you sign up with your own email, you’ll have to wait for a verification email, which takes a long time and sometimes doesn’t arrive at all.

Name, surname and two primary languages. That’s all, Native Chats doesn’t need more

However, after a while of using the application, we have several opinions on improvement. After sending the message, a visual revision of what the translations look like would be useful. After all, machine translation is not entirely without flaws. For messages delivered to your phone, a flag would be enough, according to which you would know the original language of the original message. This is because the translation may be ambiguous, so an archived original in the original language may come in handy.

Native Chats presentation:

The application is still under development, so it does not yet have full functionality. Sharing photos, videos, animated GIFs, and links should be added soon. Download the Native Chats app for free from Google Play and the App Store.
