Pioneer DM-50D-BT are new active Bluetooth monitors for listening to music and professional use

Pioneer DJ has added Pioneer DM-50D-BT active monitors (active speaker for close listening) to its DM range. These are designed for everyday music listening and have also been designed as a working tool for professionals. Two switchable modes of the built-in DSP processor are to be used for this – one for production, the other for DJs.

The DM-50D boxes are equipped with a 5 “mid-bass driver and a cov-inch tweeter with a DECO diffuser, which ensures a wider spread of high frequencies, so they should have a very wide” sweet spot “, ie a place where you hear sound without distortion, the bass reflex is then under bass driver on the front.

The Class D amplifier (with the above-mentioned DSP processor with 96kHz sampling) provides a power of 2x 25 W. The novelty thanks to Bluetooth enables wireless streaming of music from a smartphone or PC. As for the classic connection, there will be a balanced 1/4 TRS jack, stereo RCA and 3.5 mm jack. At the front there is a 3.5 mm jack for connecting headphones. The robust MDF baffles themselves have dimensions of 175 x 262 x 257 mm, so they are small compact boxes.
