Recfaces announced that on the basis of Varius Technologies, a competence center was created in the Republic of Kazakhstan for biometric products based on Recfaces face recognition. The companies signed a distribution agreement under the new Recfaces partner program, and Varius Technologies received the highest status – a qualified distributor.

Varius Technologies specialists have completed a full cycle of training, which is necessary not only to provide a full range of services for the sale, integration and service support of Recfaces, but also makes it possible to conduct training for their partners and customers on their own. Id-Guard, Id-Gate and Id-Welcome products are deployed in the Varius Technologies demo room, which allows for full-fledged demonstrations and testing of boxed solutions, as well as showing clients business scenarios for using biometric solutions based on Recfaces face recognition using live examples.

Access to obtaining free demo licenses, as well as the knowledge of Varius Technologies specialists, will provide partners and customers of the company with full-fledged pilots in order to be able to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions in practice. Id-Guard and Id-Gate are Recfaces flagship products that extend the standard functionality of video surveillance and access control systems with biometric capabilities. In turn, the Id-Welcome solution aims to increase loyalty at the facility by providing the opportunity to display personalized content on various screens. It should be noted that all Recfaces biometric solutions have a number of ready-made integrations with Russian and global manufacturers of security systems, such as Bosch, Pelco, Milestone, Lenel, Bolid, RusGuard, Sigur, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Kone, the list of which is constantly expanding.

“We are pleased to have a strong partner from Kazakhstan,” said Tamara Morozova, CEO of Recfaces. – It is especially valuable that potential customers from the Republic of Kazakhstan will have the opportunity not only to see how the solution works, but also to receive the necessary qualified assistance from a partner who is nearby. We are confident that thanks to the expertise and support of Varius Technologies in the design and implementation of solutions, the number of projects with facial biometrics in the Republic of Kazakhstan will grow rapidly.”

“The practical applicability of biometrics for many clients is still a matter of concern,” noted Timur Umerkaev, CTO of Varius Technologies. – However, in Kazakhstan it is planned to introduce a national platform for digital biometric identification based on face recognition, which, of course, will cause an increase in demand for such solutions. We believe that Recfaces products are ideal for our potential customers. And quick installation, convenient features and free demo licenses will give them the opportunity to see it.”
