SberMedII presented MDDC Doctor – a new digital product to help doctors in their daily work and support their professional activities. The service is integrated into the company’s Medical Digital Diagnostic Center (MDDC) and includes artificial intelligence algorithms that can process large amounts of data and offer doctors of all specialties the most relevant solutions when making diagnoses and determining treatments. This was reported to CNews by representatives of SberMedII.
The new AI service includes three solutions. The first is software that provides access to professional medical information, and also makes it possible to compare your own solution in diagnosing a disease with a medical database, clinical standards, recommendations and prescriptions in real time. The database is integrated with federal (including EGISZ) and regional reference systems and is constantly updated.
The second is the system for monitoring the prescription of medical care: when prescribing medicines, a doctor can check with Russian and world experience in the treatment of nosologies, prescribed doses of drugs, their compatibility and interaction.
The third is professional liability insurance for a doctor. The digital assistant will give advice on how to avoid mistakes in professional activities. The partner for the implementation of this part of the service is the Medpass company. A special algorithm developed by SberMedII analyzes the doctor’s activities, compares the appointments with the database and gives the necessary tips. Such analytics of prescriptions and compliance with clinical standards is an integral part of quality control of medical care, making it transparent. And medical organizations can avoid penalties and claims from the territorial bodies of the compulsory health insurance fund, insurance companies.
The new service “MDDC Doctor” as part of the digital platform of the Medical Digital Diagnostic Center is installed as a plug-in on the doctor’s workstation. Thus, the doctor does not need to go through a separate access procedure and special training to work with the new software, since it is integrated into a familiar interface at his workplace.
“MDDC as a platform for cutting-edge development for AI in medicine has been enhanced with a new service. Everyone knows how the flow of information has increased over the past few years, and medical institutions that generate petabytes of data are no exception. The modern doctor can now be helped by artificial intelligence to process the entire array that he needs to work with patients. He will provide information and reference and methodological support, and in addition, the doctor receives an additional tool for insurance coverage of his professional activities, – said Igal Zak, General Director of SberMedII.
