Japanese Technics has introduced its other headphones with active noise cancellation. As is customary for this premium brand, the new Technics EAH-A800 headphones will not only boast a great design. The manufacturer promises not only excellent sound quality and superior noise cancellation, they also boast excellent call quality.
The sound is provided by a newly developed 40mm dynamic transducer with a free diaphragm edge and an edge section composed of various multilayer materials. This is to ensure clear sound and deep bass. According to the manufacturer, the use of thin-film polymer capacitors – a technology used in Technics amplifiers – facilitates a stable current flowing through the audio circuits, which reduces distortion and generates great sound.
The headphones support the highest quality codec LDAC as well as simultaneous connection to a pair of devices (multipoint). The stated battery life is excellent – it is supposed to ensure 50 hours of music listening or 30 hours of talk time.
As for the quality of the calls, they took care of them eight microphones. Four MEMS microphones work simultaneously to pick up the voice, and four other microphones with beam-reducing noise reduction technology are activated simultaneously on both sides to reduce ambient noise. The result is efficient filtering of ambient noise and transmission of clear voice. The headphones should also have effective wind noise cancellation.
Noise reduction will be the start of the technology of dual hybrid noise reduction Technics. Combines digital and analog processing for best results. It is also possible to set either the natural environment mode (captures all ambient noise) or the attention mode (captures sounds in the frequency range of the human voice).
The EAH-A800 headphones have memory foam earbuds, and store the headphones themselves in a compact carrying case.
The new premium Technics EAH-A800 headphones have an official price of CZK 8,999.
