MakTsentr, the exclusive distributor of ONYX International Inc products, is pleased to announce the addition of two expected new products to its product line – the ONYX BOOX Note Air 2 Plus and ONYX BOOX Nova Air C models. Both readers have become an improved continuation of the manufacturer’s popular series. The Nova Air C model continues the series of color readers with a larger screen, while receiving a new generation E Ink on-cell Kaleido Plus display, two-color backlighting and an updated hardware platform. Note Air 2 Plus has expanded the manufacturer’s series of large-format readers, having received a high-capacity battery and magnets in the back cover, allowing you to use an updated branded protective case.

Compared to the previous generation Kaleido Plus screen, backlit color mode contrast is about 40% higher and backlit color saturation is improved by 15%. In black-and-white mode with backlight, the contrast increased by 30%. Such a display allows you to display up to 4096 colors, and due to the increased diagonal, it shows 68% more information than standard 6-inch readers. In combination with dual touch controls, this creates maximum comfort not only when reading books and comics, but also when working with technical documents. The model received a MOON Light 2 backlight with adjustable color temperature and no flicker, allowing you to use the device in poor lighting conditions and even in the dark. The Nova Air C model is based on an updated hardware platform, including an 8-core processor with a clock speed of 2 GHz, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. This ensures high speed of the device in all modes of use: when reading voluminous documents and comics, viewing color images and when performing any other tasks. The reader has a built-in dual-band Wi-Fi module operating at frequencies of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and supports Bluetooth version 5.0, which provides the ability to connect various external devices to the book. The model is made in a thin lightweight body and has a protective glass from the Japanese manufacturer ASAHI, which additionally protects the screen. The USB Type-C connector supports OTG function. The model has already gone on sale and is available at a price of 39,990 rubles.
